I have worked in both the New Zealand and US film industry with great success. Working on varying scales of projects including high budget feature films, TV serials programmes and countless commercials. I have extensive camera and gear knowledge including 3D shooting. I have worked in a diverse
range of environments and locations and know the high standards and professionalism that is required to get the job done.

I currently own and operate my own Ronin camera and Steadicam kit.

To whom it may concern,
I understand that you are considering George Hennah as a camera operator for an upcoming production you will be working on and I wanted to write this letter of recommendation to inform you of my thoughts.
To give you some background; I worked with George on a film called Shadow in the Cloud last year in Auckland, New Zealand. Previous to this I had worked all over the world, in more than 40 countries, for 14 years.
When I received George’s CV as one to consider for our film I was already excited because of his extensive experience and the calibre of Cinematographers he had worked with before, in my opinion, the best of the best.
When I met with George I was delighted to find that he was not only humble but very approachable too. I soon decided that he was the right man for the job!
During production of our film, the scale expanded and along with it, the number of units and sequences needing to be filmed. George was invaluable throughout all of this because I knew I could trust him whenever the workload increased and I increasingly handed over shots to him and asked his opinion on each day’s work. His demeanor is such that he is never intrusive with ideas but always ready to offer them when asked.
By the end of Production we overran on the schedule and I had to fly back home. It was George that I entrusted to finalise the photography of the film and, having since completed the grade, I am very happy with what he achieved.
