Fred Enholmer

I have been involved in Production Sound since 1998. I started as an Assistant, working my way up to Boom Operator. In 2007, with the help and support of my colleagues, I began my journey as a Production Sound Mixer.
Some memorable moments as a Sound Mixer I have had would be filming for two months at high altitude in Manali and Leh, Himalayas at 3500m on the feature Beyond The Known World. Also, being granted special permission to film on the Imperial Palace Grounds in Tokyo, Japan for the feature film Emperor.
A Feature Film that I mixed, Adrift, was set mostly at sea with 4 weeks spent filming in open ocean. I learned some invaluable skills on how to capture usable sync sound under very trying conditions.
This experience left me confident that my experience as a production sound mixer is truly rounded.
