Carwyn’s Catering is a partnership company started in 2013 by husband and wife team
Carwyn and Odette Powell.
Carwyn started his film catering career in 1998, at London’s Shepperton Studios on
“Love Labour’s Lost”. He was fascinated by the process and enjoyed the challenges.
From that moment he was hooked. With over 30 years’ experience and has spent the last
24 years of this working in the film industry.
Odette has also 29 years hospitality experience including restaurant management, as a
fine dining sommelier at Neil Perry’s Rockpool and other high-end establishments. Since 2006
Odette hasworked in the film industry, apart fromtaking time way to raise theirtwo children.
Carwyn’s Catering has worked with almost every production house in NZ, as well as
many international production companies, on TVCs, Films and Television shows.
Carwyn’s Catering based in West Auckland, and with two fully equipped kitchen
trucks that have the compacity to cater for up to 1000 people. And can also travel to
any location throughout New Zealand.
