I have a strong background in television and film Drama. In the industry for over 17 years and in a position where learning the craft of filmmaking is crucial to doing the best job possible . While involved in recording ,design and mixing sounds(also some producing/directing) I have gained a far better understanding of the overall process and my contribution to it. This means I am very aware of how sound (production and post) fits into the overall project.
My focus has turned to high quality content and stories, that enrich New Zealand, Maori and world culture.
My strength has become using technical and filmmaking skills to help Directors realize their vision by giving them extra tools, ideas and viewpoints which they can use to tell their story.
