Holly Norman
A life firmly centered within the equine world combined with a thirst for knowledge has equipped me with a large variety of skills and practical experience, which have the great benefit of being valuable in many other settings. Added to these are the general life skills that grow from such experiences as emigrating to the other side of the world, being a parent, and being self employed.
Working with animals has given me great problem-solving skills and adaptability|; being self-employed and the parent of a busy household has taught me how to plan well. I am an experienced and careful driver, good with tools (drills, sanders, bandsaw, grinder/hand grinder, arc welder) and have very strong literacy skills. I love physical work, reading, teaching, and learning new things.
My personal strengths are being a fast learner, articulate, great at multitasking, and believing that one should lead by example. I'd like to think that this, along with a good work ethic and a sense of humour would make me an asset to any workplace.
